Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PUCK YEAH! ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the App.

License to Use

PUCK YEAH! is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Access and use the App for tracking your espresso shots
• Install the App as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your devices
• Export your data for personal backup and portability

Your Responsibilities

When using PUCK YEAH!, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or hack the App
• Not use the App to transmit malware or malicious code
• Back up your data regularly (we're not responsible for data loss)
• Not redistribute, resell or commercialise the App without permission

Disclaimer of Warranties

PUCK YEAH! is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy of espresso guidance, recommendations or educational content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Data integrity or protection from loss
• Fitness for a particular purpose

The espresso brewing guidance provided is for educational purposes only. Brewing parameters, freshness windows and extraction advice are general guidelines and may not apply to your specific setup, beans or preferences.

Not Professional Advice

PUCK YEAH! provides general information about espresso brewing. This is not professional barista training, equipment maintenance advice or health guidance. The caffeine tracking feature is informational only and should not be used as medical advice. Consult healthcare professionals for caffeine consumption guidance.

Data Loss and Backups

Your espresso data is stored locally in your browser. We are not responsible for data loss caused by:

• Clearing browser data or browsing history
• Browser updates or crashes
• Device malfunction or loss
• Uninstalling the App or clearing site data
• Any other technical issues

You are solely responsible for backing up your data using the Export feature. We strongly recommend regular backups to cloud storage.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PUCK YEAH! and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or shot history
• Poor espresso results from following guidance
• Equipment damage
• Loss of use, revenue or profits
• Cost of substitute goods or services

Free Service, No Guarantees

PUCK YEAH! is provided completely free of charge. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend or discontinue the App at any time
• Update features, content or design without notice
• Change these Terms of Service

We'll do our best to keep the App running smoothly, but as a free service, we cannot guarantee uptime or availability.

Intellectual Property

The PUCK YEAH! name, logo, design and code are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute the App's code or design without permission. Your espresso data belongs to you.

Third-Party Services

PUCK YEAH! uses third-party services for analytics (Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights). These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices or policies.

Termination

You may stop using PUCK YEAH! at any time by simply closing the App and clearing your browser data. These Terms remain in effect regarding your prior use.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
