What's New in Puck Yeah

Every feature, improvement and fix since day one.

Coming in v1.9.4

Maintenance Reminders RestoredMaintenance reminders went missing inside the Gear page during the v1.9 redesign. The section is back: tap any machine, grinder or basket to manage its cleaning, descaling and backflush reminders. The Maintenance summary tiles at the bottom of Gear are now tappable too, so you can jump straight to the reminder you want to log. Reported by Scratchy2Times. (thanks Scratchy2Times)
Equipment PhotosAdd a photo to your machine, grinder or basket. Photos show on the Gear list, the active loadout card and the edit form. Tap the photo tile when adding or editing equipment to choose from your library or take a new one. Reported by Scratchy2Times. (thanks Scratchy2Times)

Brew Ratio Visualisation

New

Shot cards now show a two-tone horizontal bar between the dose/yield and the ratio number. A fixed yellow pill anchors the dose, and the orange pill grows with the ratio so you can read the brew style at a glance.

Linked Bags (Buy Again)

New

Re-bought bags of the same coffee now group together. Tap "Buy again" on a bean and the new bag is linked to the original so your shot history, ratings and journey roll up across every bag. The bean detail page shows a "Same coffee" strip listing every bag in the lineage so you can switch between them. Per-bag details like roast date, freshness and remaining grams stay scoped to each bag.

Keep Screen Awake Reliability

Fixed

Keep Screen Awake now re-asserts itself every few seconds while a shot timer is running, and again whenever the app returns to the foreground. Some iOS lifecycle events were resetting the idle timer mid-shot so the screen could still dim and lock.

Share Puck Yeah

New

A new "Share Puck Yeah" button in Settings opens the iOS share sheet pre-filled with the App Store link, so you can pass it to a fellow home barista in two taps. On the web app it shares puckyeah.app or copies the link to your clipboard.
